Beijing's Michelin Vegan Guide (6 Restaurants)

2026.03.23 · The TeaVegVoyage team

From Bib Gourmand to two Michelin stars — six Beijing vegan tables not to miss.

Beijing's Michelin vegetarian landscape has become clear since 2024. We have put together six places worth a dedicated trip.

Tianchu Miaoxiang is one of Beijing's earliest fine vegetarian kitchens and entered the Bib Gourmand list in 2024, with a single dish of toon tofu unchanged for twenty years. Jingxinlian follows the Michelin plate line, clean and restrained. Shanhe Wanduo represents Chinese high-end vegetarian cooking and suits formal entertaining. Suzhi is also on the plate list, with a more everyday feel. Xin Rong Ji's vegetarian menu sits behind a two-star system, and the output is consistent. Jingzhao Kitchen leans towards the creative end, willing to try things with both plating and flavour.

The six differ considerably in price and setting: for a comfortable everyday vegetarian meal, go to Suzhi; to eat seriously, go to Shanhe Wanduo or Xin Rong Ji.

Our Beijing vegetarian deep-dive arranges three main meals and one late supper across four nights, so that you can compare the kitchens across the table. Eat at only one and you cannot taste the layers in Beijing's vegetarian cooking.

A last note: the Michelin lists are updated every year, and kitchens change head chefs and menus, so it is worth reconfirming opening details before you go. Whenever we revise this list we try to mark what has changed.
